About

Julie Davidson-Gómez brings a unique and synergistic blend of experience and talent to her clients. She is a certified professional coach, specializing in leadership and team coaching that leverages “what’s going right” to produce learning breakthroughs, behavioral shifts, and greater productivity and morale.

Julie’s coaching, consulting and training career spans over a decade and two countries.

Julie harvests her experiences in coaching, popular education, public policy, process consultation, improvisational theater, and program management to provide engaging processes with applicable learnings and tools.

For over fifteen years, Julie has worked and researched in organizations serving women, families, immigrants, people of color, and GLBT community. Her passions include working with young and emerging leaders of community-based organizations, and witnessing the power that is unleashed when people develop their strengths and work from core values. Julie plays an instrumental role in establishing coaching projects as components of leadership development programs and progressive philanthropy. Her work with the LeaderSpring Executive Fellowship, AEPOCH Fund, CompassPoint Nonprofit Services, and the national Coaching & Philanthropy Project continue to inform the sector.

Prior to becoming a coach and consultant, Julie led grantmaking initiatives at the Women’s Foundation of California, and statewide policy and advocacy projects at the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California. She is a 2001 graduate of the Women’s Health Leadership program offered by the Public Health Institute. Julie’s educational and professional background is in the social sciences, public health, and human rights. She holds a Masters degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona, certification as a co-active coach through the Coaches Training Institute, and certification as a systems coach through the Center for Right Relationship.
